They’re not “the deplorables.” They’re the urban highly “educated” (scare quotes because they aren’t really educated, just credentialed) whites who deplore them. So I guess that’s the real white privilege.

My family runs the political spectrum so marriage with a person of differeny beliefs would get one of these responses.
They make a great couple.
We lost them.
Maybe the new spouse can talk some sense into them.
Libertarians and Socialists aren’t all that different but they will probably fight alot anyway.
At least they like dogs.
