Industry would rather fight EPA rather than Crap n’ Trade, they can tie this up in the courts for years and possibly shove it up EPS’s ass in the process or at a minimum tie it up long enough to make it an bludgeon for the 2012 Election to use against Obama. Hoist, meet Pitard!

Funny thing about court, Discovery aint just a Space Shuttle.

Full discolsure, While I don’t work for EPA, I do work with them from time to time. Most of the Rank and File are good people and most of what the EPA does is good.

I still wonder if it could not be better broken-up with its functions split amongst other agencies like some have proposed doing with NASA. 95% of the EPA’s enforcement functions are delegated to the states anyway. My state has primacy.

FYI, I recently met an EPA Inspector who worked the Columbia Clean-Up in Texas………….He found a part of an Astronaut.

This is how they are going to force Cap and Trade through by making the EPA out to be the bad cop in order to get everyone to go along with the supposed good cops in congress. I guess we really are going to need those fisting kits after all. This administration is full of radicals chomping at the bit to pound every two bit, pie in the sky socialist wet dream out on us.

The problem with making a political Turkey of the EPA makes it eligible to be carved-up at a latter date.

Part of it’s sacrosanct nature is derived for the Science keeing it above politics.

Once it is proven to be a partisan problem, it becomes amenable to partisan solutions.

If the science is “settled” (what an absurd phrase — science is never “settled,” by definition), how can there be so many scientists who disagree that it is settled?
