I think it’s looking pretty clear that this whole thing was a sting op, orchestrated by the Clinton campaign, with the connivance (for the FISA warrants, etc,) of some people in the FBI. It’s the “insurance policy” they were talking about.
However, this does not mean there was no collusion with Russia. I think this shows there was; being able to whistle up some real Russian agents to send to Trump Tower is quite a capability, and one that defacto requires working with the Putin regime.
And now a key link, Misfud, is reported to be oh so conveniently dead.
My guess; if Misfud is still alive, it’s not a CIA safe house he’s in. It’s a GRU one.
