It drives me crazy that we continue to operate under the delusion that NASA sends humans into space for the purpose of science, and that scientists have anything useful to say about the subject. Only hoplophobic fools will be surprised. More guns, less crime.
And yes, I know that they weren’t actually allowed to carry until very recently, but sometimes just the perception that people may be armed can have an effect. Which is why concealed carry has a large free rider effect.
