Need to figure out how to integrate that onto an ocean platform.
On land, it’s easy to imagine an endless conga line of ships queued on SPMTs awaiting their hourly stackings and launches on endlessly shuttling boosters being launched, then caught a few minutes later and repositioned to be stacked with the next ship. Comparably feeding a similar launch site at sea – harder to picture.
I think that’s why SpaceX is looking to buy much of Pecan Island. That huge plot of remote land would allow room for such queues to be lined up at a dozen or more individual launch pads allowing launches to proceed every few minutes.
That would make Gattaca look like a model rocketry meet by comparison.
It will be the day when we’ll need ATC around launches and landings. Maybe someday someone will write a fictional book to give one an idea of the scale of the operation and call it Spaceport.
If you call it Spaceport, it will have to involve a hijacked Starship.
Spaceport 2029!
Too bad George Kennedy is no longer around.
I was thinking the same.
Good thing Starships can’t read…
What about the ZAZ crew? (Airplane!)
D.O. COPD?
D.O. COPD?D.O. COPV? (my bad)…
I think I’d favor Starbase PI, for Pecan Island. Substitute the math symbol for the ‘PI.’

Well, as we learned yesterday. Not without mods to the deluge system.
