Language translation programs are AI. So, yeah.
But you can tell the difference between AI generated and AI translated. This looked to me like AI generated.
Maybe not. The translation code didn’t make the shift away from how French uses articles (that is, determinative adjectives). So “l’ecole” means “school” not “the school.” Etc. Try “This morning Elon Musk said…” and it’s not AI. The original French is okay as is.
McCarthy was a drunk. Find out what he drank and send a case to all the other Senators.

Defending McCarthy for the sake of anti-communism is like defending Che Guevara for the sake of Communism. You’re defending an evil person merely because someone is attacking the ideology via that person.
McCarthy pursued his Communist hunt for personal gain, attacked US institutions without evidence, and frankly didn’t really care whether his targets were communist supporters or not.
There are better hills to die on than defending political opportunists.
Excellent points that people need to bear in mind. Someone can be on “my side” without being a good person or doing good works. And people can be on the “other side” without being evil. I can oppose a policy without villainizing the ones proposing it just as I can support a policy without worshiping those proposing it.
