The thing I find most hilarious about the entire Jeffords business is that the (unbiased, naturally) media jumped all over it as a "defection of principle against the rightward tilting of the Republican party". If you read Woodward's 'The Agenda', Jeffords was trying to whore himself out to the Dems as early as '92...but they were'nt inteested in buying. Odd, isn't it, that with all of the journalists who must've read 'The Agenda', that that little factoid slipped right on by...
