Superstition?

The airlines are having trouble getting bookings for flights on September 11.

Why commemorate a great victory using the calendar of the infidel enemy? For a faithful Muslim, the first anniversary of an event that occured on 22 Jumada II 1422 will be 22 Jumada II 1423.

The first date corresponds to 11 September 2001, the second date to 31 August 2002.

Not that I think that they're going to do anything on either date, Raoul, but if their goal is psychological warfare on the infidels, it would make more sense to use the infidels' anniversary date. That's (generously) assuming, of course, that they're rational and competent...
