Sky Show

It's just about six hours until the peak of the Leonid meteor storm. It probably won't be this good again in your lifetime, unless Ray Kurzweil is right.

Unfortunately the observed ZHR did not live up to the prediction. we saw about 75 trails in Reading, MA (North of Boston) between 0440 and 0545 EST, when the sky became bright enough to obscure the trails (predicted peak was at 0530 EST).

MSFC is predicting storm levels for the Perseids though, so maybe August will be more interesting.
