A Bob Hope memory...
In 1973 at the boy scout jamboree in Idaho he entertained about 50000 adolescent troops with:
"...Playtex? Not now, I've got to buy my wife a girgle." Which tickled those young men.
Then in his dialog he mentioned all fifty states, giving each time to stand and cheer before going on to the next.
