Time Enough

Phil Bowermaster has an interview with a man who says aging is curable.

Leon Kass is going to just hate this.

See? Now there's a benefit I didn't even think of. Eat your heart out, Leon.

I invite any who can find a copy to read "Immortailty...For Some" by J. T. KcIntosh in 1960.

It is an amazingly apt short story on the advantages/pitfalls of defeating the aging process.

Another excellent short story on immortality and the reactions to it is _Border Guards_ by Greg Egan. The story is available online at: http://gregegan.customer.netspace.net.au/BORDER/Complete/Border.html

Well, speaking as an immortalist and a transhumanist, I've already wagered $200,000 on this as I'm signed up for cryostasis with TWO cryonics companies (1 is backup in case something happens to the first). As the future of nanotechnology gets closer, we expect immortality to finally get more press. About time these articles started popping up more often.

As for Leon Kass [UNPRINTABLE].

Remember this DS9 episode where the guy was trying to cure aging?
