Cogent thoughts!! Will anyone in power listen?
But is it those in "power" who have the say or are we not all to some extent controlled by the professional corps of managers of the government bureaucracy at the State Dept, the Congress, etc? On whose side are they?

Very interesting commentary, Although I dont neccessarily agree with all of it, very thought-provoking. Well said!

The best indication that our current U.S. Gov't is not really interested in a real so called War on Terror is that we are still funding the so called Drug War. Other nations in some ways have a right to show resentment to the U.S. because we show little modesty in our current world power situation and a good example of that is how we mangle the Columbian country side with herbicides just because there are a few "bad" plants down there. As Bill Mahr put it, because we can't stop doing cocaine then they can't grow food.
