An Endless Battle

If you don't realize what an uphill battle we have to get the Europeans in touch with reality, go read this account by an Israeli of a conversation in Germany.

Even though I don't agree with the Germans, I understand how they feel. I used to believe that the Israelis were nothing but bullies trying to take land from the Palis, but I decided to educate myself more about the conflict instead of just relying on 30 second blurbs and TV imagery. The Palestinians have been given chances to form their own state but always reject the plans because they can't have all of Jerusalem or some other idiotc thing. The Palis need to learn the meaning of compromise. Ultimately, I doubt if many of the elites in Islamic countries really give a damn about the Palis, they seem to regard them mostly as political tools useful for pestering Israel, I'd bet the same is true for leftists in general.

I have no doubt whatsoever on that score: THEY DON'T.
