OK, That's Close Enough

I heard on the radio that he left "to avoid bloodshed."

Funny, he didn't seem to mind all the bloodshed of the past few years of his presidency. I'll bet he could paint a barn with someone else's blood. One can't help but cynically sense that the only blood that he was concerned about being shed was his own.

...and Senator Kerry thinks we should go into Haiti to stop the bloodshed. But he's against staying in Iraq to stop the bloodshed.

Or was he for nation building and the free elections that brought Aristeide to power, when Mr Clinton put us this all together? But its Mr. Bush's fault Aristiede did anything wrong and stole from his people, right? Wrong?

Or is it that he is for free elections in Iraq, but against nation building in Iraq? But he doesn't think there was bloodshed there before we attacked Saddam? But he said there were WMD's when Clinton said there were, but now there were never WMD's?

Or was he for the Viet Nam war when he was there, but as soon as he came home everyone he left behind was a baby killer and rapist? But he was against the bloodshed before or after he was there?

Geez, I'm so confused, and I think Mr. Kerry is too!! Or is he just wishy washy, or is he forgetful, or is he......

Aristide is out, and rebels descend on Port-au-Prince.

One down, one to go.

I'm with Steve--Aristide is another sorry legacy of the pathetic Clinton Administration. How many years will it take to clean up all the messes that Administration left behind?

Clinton was nothing than a second rate con man from a third rate state.

But, maybe I'm being unfair. I've never been to Arkansas.

Aristide couldn't leave until he made sure all the transfers to the Swiss bank accounts were completed.

And the only reason Bush has gotten involved is because Halliburton has discovered oil there.

(Calling Arkansas "third rate" is an insult to West Virginia and Mississippi.)

to TJF,
I've spent many a day working in Arkansas and it is to some extent a third rate state. Mostly because of jerks like Clinton who have run and continue to run the state for their own good and not for that of the people. Then again the people elect these twits, so it may be a matter of choice, beng a third rate state.

Of course I write this from my home in NC and its pretty much the same here. They hate the conservatives here, continue to vote for the liberals, and then complain at every church event. I DO NOT nor will I ever understand this phenomenon.
