Breathtaking

These people are astounding. Or they would be, if they hadn't been indulging in this nonsense for years:

In response to false Republican accusations regarding the CBS documents, Democratic National Committee Chairman Terry McAuliffe issued this statement:

“In today’s New York Post, Roger Stone, who became associated with political ‘dirty tricks’ while working for Nixon, refused to deny that he was the source the CBS documents.

“Will Ed Gillespie or the White House admit today what they know about Mr. Stone’s relationship with these forged documents? Will they unequivocally rule out Mr. Stone’s involvement? Or for that matter, others with a known history of dirty tricks, such as Karl Rove or Ralph Reed?”

My response:

Terry McAucaliffe today refused to deny that he buggers little boys.

Will he admit today what he knows about his relationships with these acolytes of Michael Jackson's? Will he unequivocally rule out his own involvement? Or for that matter, others with a known history of dirty tricks, such as John Kerry or Joe Lockhart?

He had to do that because he knew the Lockhart link to Burkett through CBS was going to break, speaking of dirty tricksters. The best defence....but I think the MSM will have to tread lightly and report this like they are supposed to(thanks Dan Rather).

Hmmm, I see nobody fired McAuliffe yet for mishandling the Democrat primaries. Hint: if you don't want a light-weight like Kerry as your candidate for president, then you don't "front-load" the primaries.

Why is Terry in charge of the DNC _anyway_?

Shouldn't it be someone appointed by Gore? Or, now that he's the candidate, Kerry?

I have no idea who he'd pick, but _I_ wouldn't let a Clintonista within framing distance of me. And... it has to be a step up.

He "had" to do that? No, he didn't "have" to do it. It may have been the most expedient thing to do, for a party that's going down the drain, but Mr. McAuliffe had numerous other options, from remaining mute to resigning from the Democratic Party in disgust. This is simply what he chose to do, and the fact that he chose to do it says everything about the character of the man.

This situation is a bad one for the USA, and for that matter, the world.

Bush should have to earn his victory, not be confronted by what in my opinion is the most ineptly run campaign ever, promoting the most unattractive -even loathsome- Democratic candidate for decades. Even we can see that, all the way in Australia; not based on what the GOP and Bush say, but what the DNC and Kerry say.

This crap is going to continue unless and until the Democratic Party gives up their love affair with the corrupt Clintons and GETS RID OF THE CLINTON HIT-MEN running the DNC. It's pathetic.

You will notice I'm not holding my breath.

Ladies and gents, what you are watching is just the tip of the iceberg known as Queen Hillary. (Who is another one who thinks - much as Kerry does - that she's entitled to be President because, well, she's entitled, dammit.)

If the Republicans were up to there eye teeth in producing these forgeries, why then is Burkett suing CBS? If he had given the documents to the RNC or Rove and they "dumped" them on Rather to set him up, wouldn't he be suing The RNC, Rove and/or Mr. Bush?

Face it kids Dithering Dan wanted this "bad news for Bush", to be true SO badly, he was willing to commit journalsitc suicide, and hopefully he has.

The best line of the week, from some CBS publicist referring to one of the document experts..." well she didn't tell us NOT to run the story!"

For the 'Karl Rove did it' theory (as a side point, if KR is that smart, Bush MUST win, if only so America can have access to KR's Jeeves-like mind...) to be practical, one must assume that Rather is in on the plot. After all, all that would be necessary for the whole thing to fail was for ANYONE at CBS to simply fact-check the memos. Once they do that, it becomes obvious that they are forgeries, and the whole thing falls apart. In point of fact, not only does the plan fail, but CBS would have reason to backtrack along the chain of posession to find out just where all this stuff came from in the first place, possibly leading to a RNC 'dirty-trick' being exposed just weeks before the election...

Of course, this bit of logic is probably outside the reach of some of the rather deranged lefties I have seen online lately...

Joe Lockhart today demanded to know "when was the last time George W. Bush beat his wife."

It's devolved down to that sort of rhetoric? Really? How do you stop this ride so I can get off?

And, one final question: how do I get my hands on one of Karl Rove mind control ray guns?
