To all my fellow Veterans out there:

Thank You for taking your turns, both before and after me, so I could grow up, and then continue to live free. And so that my children, and now grand-children could also. Thank You to the families who now and before gave up time with sons and daughters who were off God knows where, protecting our way of life.

Mostly Thank You to the families of men and women who did not come home, but gave the ultimate sacrifice. It is their sacrifice that ensures that we can say what want, pray how we want and live in the best country ever concieved of mens minds.

I think there are no greater Veterans of our countries Armed Service than those families.

What Steve said.

Rand, thank you for posting "In Flanders Fields." It brought tears to my eyes when I first read it as a child, and nothing has changed.
