Head Code

That's how I'm currently pronouncing my new ailment, which is a "head cold." I feel like someone scooped all the gray stuff out of my noggin and replaced it with moldy cotton. Probably little blogging for the time being.

Cold-Eaze™, Rand. The brand name, not some knock-off. But take double the dose they recommend. And chicken soup helps break up the congestion.

Hope you feel better soon.

I had something similar that I'm just getting over from a couple weeks back. I tried to tough it out for a few days but eventually broke down and went to the doctor. Got a $10 shot and some $15 antibiotic meds and I started to feel better that same day. The doctor also recommended that I use the new Mucinex DM. Which I might add does an outstanding job of drying out my sinuses and its absolutely non-drowsy. Plus its free of any other added stimulants like other cold/expectorant meds. Don't be fooled by the cough suppressant expectorant label it does a great job as an decongestant as well.

Rand,

Get plenty of rest and drink lots of fluids. That's a good idea for those of us who are still healthy, too.

Hope you're better soon.

...Try the Zicam oral spray. It tastes like death warmed over, but it works.
