Why John Kerry Isn't President

These images aren't the whole reason, but they sure didn't help. And they're pretty darned funny.

Look at the funny man
Excerpt: A humorous look at President Bush contrasted with Senator Kerry, in pictures. Thanks to Transterrestrial Musings for pointing it out....

These pictures are hillarious.

I thought Bush was a dork, but Kerry definitely takes the cake here.

Throw like a girl, salute like a squid. Yup, that's JFK alrighty.

This one is the best.

They left out the famous bunny-NASA photos, those were some of the best.

Yes, those are really funny. :-)

I contribute this classic as a riposte.

There is something about the photo McGehee shared which is suggestive of "got beaten up in seventh grade".

I have the moral courage to admit that I throw like a girl. If I were ever to run for public office I would ask my handlers to arrange some discrete coaching. The failure to do so suggests a disdain for the considerable portion of the population who care about such things.

It reflects that he does not care about things that are unimportant. What the heck does knowing how to play baseball or football have to do with ruling a country?

The fact that you people give as much weight to such trifle things says more about your country, than how sissy he looks when doing sports.

"It reflects that he does not care about things that are unimportant"

Things that _you_ think are unimportant. I don't recall seeing the memo that made you the Jello Sheriff.

Note that I don't think it's important that Kerry know how to toss a baseball, render a correct salute, etc. But striving to do things (throwing a ball, rendering a correct salute) that he really didn't _like_ doing made him look like a tool.

Which is to say that when we're told that ol' John Kerry likes to get out the horsehide and toss a few around while he's got some downtime, seeing a photo that suggests this is not the exact truth and he's being -told- he should do this to look like an average Joe, it makes him look like a tool and caricature.
