San Franscisco Anarchists - Churchill's native habitat.

There was a time when San Francisco was a really beautiful place. When the counterculture was mostly beautiful. It's really sad the uglies have taken over.

God, I hate Communists and others of their ilk.

However much I hate Communists, I would not call the Ward Churchill crowd "their ilk". Real, dedicated Communists (a rare breed nowdays) are rather straight-laced and boring. That mob in San Francisco would not last a day in the USSR -- or even in Cuba, if they were plopped there without US passports, i.e. in the same boat with Cubans.

I think the best definition of "adult" is "someone who has realized the world does not revolve around them". Ward Churchill and his adoration club are simply overgrown children having a snit. Not a good survival tactic in a Communist (or Muslim) society, but one they can safely indulge in the very society they want destroyed.

I propose we call them Petularies in honor of their supreme petulence.

The boring, puritanical Communists of the San Francisco Bay area did real damage -- fatal damage in too many instances -- to anything they couldn't control back in the late 60s and early 70s.

Lots of broken people came to the San Francisco area in the late 60s. We (the sane, friendly, imaginative people) took care of them as best we could. We departed when the assaults of left and right wing bullies got to be too much. You can see some of the results on the blog Rand links to.
