Movin' On Up

Aleta Jackson emailed me this news last night. This is a big breakthrough for XCOR, and should make it easier to get capital for some of their more ambitious projects.

I'll look forward to asking her about this when we're sparing on a panel in August.

I agree. I was downloading and watching videos of Dick Rutan fly their EZ Rocket long before I heard anything about Burt's Spaceship One.

Thanks, all. Dave, I'm looking forward very much to WorldCon in Glasgow, Scotland, in August! I doubt, however, that any "sparing" will be going on. Dan and I will be there mostly to have fun, enjoy partying with all the fans and exploring Scotland.
Because of ITAR we will not be able to discuss in detail any of our engines, but we can be enthusiastic about the future. ;->

I favour VTVL concepts for orbital at low costs, but since this is suborbital, I think they have a good design. I found designs like Black Horse and X-34 interesting and very viable for this. LOX/Kerosene is a great combo since there is no aerial refuel, I wish the best of luck to the team.

I like VTVL too, but we're going with what works, but most importantly, what we can afford. :-)

this message is to request information on composite LOX tank, since I am investigating on this topic to carry out a project of the CITA center of investigations in aeronautical technology of the Colombian air force.
I thank him any information on this topic
