Yeah, He Did Such A Great Job In Haiti

Just in case you harbored any illusions that Ramsey Clark had the slightest remaining shred of sanity, he apparently just called for Bush to be replaced by deposed Haitian president Aristide at today's anti-America rally in Washington (and yes, I call it that because most of the people there aren't actually for peace--they're just on the other side).

[Update at 3 pM]

Gateway Pundit agrees:

For the media to say that this is an Anti-War Rally is a lie. Now they are chanting, "End the Occupation!"...The media should be sued for misrepresentation.

The usual bogosity...
Excerpt: Gateway Pundit has lots on the "anti-war" protests: "I thought this was going to be an Anti-Iraq War Rally but it's just a hodgepodge of extreme leftist groups taking turns at a microphone..." (Thanks to Rand) Of course that's...

While I consider You(Rand), to be an enlightened and very well educated individual in the areas of off-world enterprises, I must say I believe that your Political views are a bit skewed.

Calling a rally in favor of ending a War to be Anti-American is IMHO the height of hypocrisy.

This country which you hold so dear was founded on the right to disagree with the government at anytime. Along with that right we also have a right to Express our disagreement in various Non-violent forms, including holding rallys and publishing documents expressing our opinions, however unpopular they may be.

Did you, Do you agree with every war this country has entered into? Have you volunteered to participate in the current WAR on TERROR by offering up Your Blood?

If holding a protest of this type is Anti-American, perhaps America doesn't stand for all those things in the constitution that we learn about at such a young age. Maybe the America we once held dear is no longer acceptable under the current regime.

Well that was my Randt for the day, J/K.

Respectfully agreeing to disagree.

Oh I forgot...

Your right... Clark is a nutball.... lol

I didn't say holding a protest of this type is un-American. I also never said that they didn't have a right to protest, or disagree, or even hold their vile views.

I said what is true, which is that this is not a "peace" rally, and that many of those attending, and certainly the ones who sponsored it, are anti-American, and they want us to lose the war in Iraq. Many of them forthrightly say so, expressing support for the "insurgency."

Oh, and please spare me the long-discredited "chicken hawk" argument. Once does not forfeit ones right to support a war because they don't, for whatever reason, actually enlist to personally fight in that war.

Don't bother, Rand. Damford is obviously another of those people who think only people with hands-on military experience should be allowed to hold federal office or run the government.

I prefer the civilian control we have now, but that's just me....
