Weep For Them

I know that this will want you to dig deep, and make a contribution to their plight in this Christmholiday season.

It's getting so that journalists can no longer afford to live in New York. Maybe they should drive a bus instead. Given the quality of much of their output, many of them are sure overpaid for what they're doing now.

Well, looks like they'll handling it in the usual manner, namely by whining loudly about how little they're willing to work for.

Well, there's few jobs that allow you to propagandize for your own personal political views to a large segment of the public on a daily basis. You gotta make trades.

Shoot, I know lots of bloggers who do it for nearly nothing! Plus, they get to take a few days off for their 'holiday activities'. Right Rand? Rand? ;)

Sorry - sympathy meter's pegged at -10.

Checked my apathy meter, too - it's pegged at +10.

Guess the shit is outta luck.

This is news? As I've pointed out many times, after a few more hurricanes, only the very wealthy will be able to afford to live in Florida; as real estate, taxes and insurance skyrocket after every storm. While this may eventually clean out some less than desirable neighborhoods, there will be a vast shortage of workers. One can daily commute from New Jersey to NYC- but West Virginia to Miami is a little more than I'd care to travel every day.

Bah-Hum-bug to the reporters, and Merry Christmas to you ;)

The best thought in that piece was the one about actual worth versus reporters perception of worth. Journalism has been a sort of closed profession for years. If you didn't buy into the secular-progressive politics, you had no chance for advancement. So here are a group of people with a product no one wants to buy and they complain about it instead of wondering why.
