The past is the past. What are we going to do about today's corruption? Acknowledging a cultural problem seems a good first step.

It is not a "cultural" problem, Kevin. It's a "government having too much power" problem. The rest is just human nature. Lord Acton had it right.
I just get a little sickened at the hypocrisy of many of the current critics.
