I, too, look forward to the cross examination by Hugh Hewitt. But I suspect that even Joel isn't that naive, after the last time.

As opposed, I guess, to Stein's own unquestioning, tribal, us-versus-them, arrogant mentality, as illustrated in his piece.

Lileks is right, this doofus really has no clue how he comes across.

Like everyone else, I'm just blindly trying to fit in with my clique. And, even if it was weird, getting redecorated for the weekend by someone else's clique was kind of cool.

I can't speak for Lileks, but if someone on Stein's side of the aisle is doing self-parody these days they really need to make it more obvious -- thanks to the unironic, unintended self-parody that is so readily available out there off to port.

Interesting to note that he doesn't fit in to the American clique.
