Space Fashion

There wasn't much worth taking pictures of at the conference in Vegas this past weekend, but Misuzu Onuki is always worth taking a picture of, and when she's with her space fashions, it's worth posting. The one on the left is a wedding dress, with wires in it to make the fringes "float" up as they would in weightlessness.

Cute. Weren't there any pictures at the Sex in Space session? (serious question)

Gal - cute. Space fashion - goofy.

Maybe Jeff Foust took some pictures -- he has a much better camera (this was taken on a pocket Nikon Coolpix 2100). I was way in the back of the room blogging during most of the sessions.

Space fashion...now we know some of the research that NASDA wants to do in the JEM.

So is the aluminum foil lining optional or standard?

Posted by Greg at July 26, 2006 09:46 AM

"Greg," are you ever going to make a substantive contribution to my comments section, or will it just continue to be mindless snark?

I think I know the answer to that question.

For an animated space girl, her eyes are way too small...

I do have some photos of various conference sessions, including the Sex in Space panel, although nothing terribly, um, titillating. I'll probably upload some to Flickr when I have a spare moment or two.
