Title spelling error. Nice tribute.

Of course the NY firefighters deserve tribute.

Of course the members of all the allied armed forces deserve tribute.

But the people ultimately giving the orders, all the way to the top, deserve a long stretch. There were three chances to stop the whole thing (at least) and the guys in charge fluffed them all, due to two sets of letters; CYA and PC.

I am not at all surprised at the way the firefighters acted; slightly under four years later, admittedly on a smaller scale, London got its share. Any Americans remember 7/7/05?

And ordinary citizens, as well as the emergency services, behaved magnificently.

Of course, we have been dealing with terrorism for forty years, at least partially financed by US citizens.

I wonder how Noraid is doing now?
