Not Jihadis

We should be calling them Hirabis. Interesting.

Busted link, Rand.

Maybe we should call them Very Proper Charlies.

Correct link, if moveable type allows it:

(Change slant of slash to make it work)

What's messing up the link is a single quote at the end.

Until it gets fixed, just copy the link, paste it into the address bar, and delete the single quote.

This is one of those "No sh*t, Sherlock" things that people have been saying for years, yet people keeps using the wrong (deeply wrong, from a PsyOps perspective) word.

I don't recall any of our officials calling anyone in
Iraq "Jihadi's", I've seen the phrase "Anti-Iraq Forces",
"Insurgents" and "Terrorists" used freely.
Also "Baathists" and "Saddam'ists"

The troops often call the Locals "Hajis", but,
Jihadist? Not the most common phrase.

"Islamofascists" works for me.

Posted by Jonathan at November 4, 2006 07:23 PM

What we should be calling them is "corpses" - or maybe "ash and smoke".
