It looks like the lonely Kerry story was bogus. Guess it was "fake, but accurate."

At least we admit our mistakes. Being not filled with irrational hatred helps alot with that.

Posted by Mike Puckett at January 5, 2007 02:21 PM

Yeah but the moonbats will never recognize that fact. Let them wallow in one of their few legitimate "gotchas". Even a broken clock is right twice a day.

For that matter, compare the conservative's general attitude of resigned introspection after getting stomped in the election, to the left's unhinged rage. It's somehow reasonable when they win a majority, whereas it's obviously stolen from duped voters if the Repubs win.

They're like dealing with teenagers.

How about that Capt Jalal hussein of samara and
the 6 people burned alive foo-faw?

Considering the claim started as he doesn't exist, therefore
the story is bogus. Well now he's under arrest, and
that proposition is in tatters.

Of course the real apology comes when Simberg says
"I'm sorry for beating the drums for war with Iraq",
I knew it was untrue to repeat claims about WMD and
terrorism in Iraq, and I shall apologize to the american people
and in person to the families of every soldier who
died fighting my war of personal agenda.

Posted by anonymous at January 5, 2007 03:32 PM

Hey, Rand, why didn't you tell your readers you had the ability to persuade Congress to vote to authorize war, and to influence foreign intelligence agencies to agree w/ US assessments?

I've got a business proposition for you, given your omnipotence....

Posted by Lurking Observer at January 5, 2007 03:37 PM

"Being not filled with irrational hatred helps alot with that."

Oh, the irony is more delicious than apple pie.

Mike, have you actually bothered to read your own posts? I'd say that "irrational hatred" pretty much defines you. I pray for you every night and hope that you find inner peace and lower blood pressure.

Posted by Ken Pinkerton at January 5, 2007 03:59 PM

Must be working Ken, my BP is 80 over 110.

PS I understand the kookball left has a problem confusing righteous indignation with irrational hatred but know I forgive you your obvious mistake and forgive you your projection.

Posted by Mike Puckett at January 5, 2007 04:14 PM

Ah, Mike, you forget about Google. For somebody who is not filled with blind hatred, you sure do write a lot of nasty posts:
“Did you marry that strawman before you anally raped him?”

“Bill, thanks for establishing for the board that only six percent of all meth addicts sucessfully beat their addiction. Good luck with your next rehab session.”

“Of course, you might be able to sucessfully plead to be remanded to an institution based on your obviously subnormal I.Q.”

“So tell us, did your parents ever stop beating you? Did they actually have any children who survived?”

"I am sure its some phallic insufficiency denial syndrome."

“Let Dumbass Carmichael go drink from the creek then if she don't like it. Giardia and her are a match made in heaven.”

“Perhaps you should ask your doctor to up your voltage. The current setting just isn't cutting it.”
“Without them, how would we know that the overwhelming liberal rated Joe Liberman was really an evil secret Neocon Joooo Republican?!”
“They are going to save us from Goldstein err Liberman! Oh! Thank you enlightened moonbats!”
“Without your ceasless nonsense posting, Goldstein err... Liberman might have fooled us all!”

“What's a ventricle and how are you able to post with you head so firmly embedded within?”

“Perhaps one or two of them. I doubt he has changed his opinion on slimebags like Schumer or Durbin.”

Posted by Ken Pinkerton at January 5, 2007 04:22 PM

Factual descriptive gems. Thanks for posting them.

Here is a clue: Calling an asshole an asshole is descriptive, not hate if they really are an asshole. Just becasue I don't sugar coat my description of something does not mean I hate it. It just means I hate political correctness.

I hate the lies and the weasle words of the left, not the moonbat leftists morons themselves. It would be like hating someone because they are simply retarded. I am not the one who made them assholes nor am I the one who made them hump strawmen, I simply described them for what they really are. Is that such a hard concept for you to grasp?

Perhaps the question you should ask is what do you need to do to be less of an asshole? Perhaps posting on topic would be a good way to start.

So tell us beloved asshole, how is this contributing to the original topic of this thread?

Posted by Mike Puckett at January 5, 2007 04:53 PM

Why are we supposed to believe this guy, and why does it take 2 weeks for the "truth" to come out? (The same goes for AP and their miraculous discovery of "Capt. Hussein Jamail".)

And considering the number of false "Bushisms" still floating about the Left has MovedOn™ from when proved false, (plastic turkey any one?) I see no need for anyone to apologize until they show some reciprocity.

Posted by Raoul Ortega at January 5, 2007 05:01 PM

Rand, why the heck do you still care about Kerry? He's soooo 2004.

Posted by Adrasteia at January 5, 2007 05:07 PM

Simberg

and the other neocon's hate john kerry because he's
a real war hero. Every time they see him, they are
reminded of their cowardice and inadequacy.

Posted by anonymous at January 5, 2007 07:23 PM

The Jews hate John Kerry? I though John Kerry is a Jew? Is he a self-hating Jew? Is that what you are trying to say Lassie? Woof! Woof!

Anonymous Jew-Hater is trying to tell us Kerry fell down a well!!

Posted by Mike Puckett at January 5, 2007 07:33 PM

Anonymous Jew-Hater thinks John Kerry is a real hero? Bwahahahahahah!

Posted by Rick C at January 5, 2007 07:58 PM

But is is a Hero to him! But then again AJ-H has already demonstrated there is no accounting for his taste (or lack therof) since his first post on this board.

Posted by Mike Puckett at January 5, 2007 08:27 PM

So, if I am reading this correctly, Kerry was holding a "private" conversation with members of the press in a crowded environment. Perhaps to make up for his cancelled press conference?

Posted by Bart at January 5, 2007 09:57 PM

Senator Kerry used taxpayers dollars to fly to Iraq to get a personal/upfront understanding of the situation, he is at US embassy having breakfast, and he uses this time to have a private conversation with two reporters?

This is bogus? Seems like the only thing bogus is that it wasn't the troops that avoided John Kerry, but John Kerry that avoided the troops. Either scenario is unsurprising considering we are talking about John Kerry.

John kerry won a silver star saving a soldier's life
in combat. That's far better then you ever did
Mr Puckett. When you denigrate his achievements
you denigrate the heroism of our soldiers in every
battle who also won that award.

Very typical of you

Posted by anonymous at January 6, 2007 09:30 AM

"When you denigrate his achievements

battle who also won that award.

Still humping that strawman in the manner of Gengis Kahn I see. Very typical of you.

Actually, I have the highest respect for the other soldiers and sailors. See, they did not turncoat against their fellow soldiers and sailors like Kerry did in a cheap political stunt in order to advance their own political careers. If you wish to respect a turncoat who has walked upon the backs of those who fought and bled, well I guess that speaks volumes about your character. I guess the ends justify the means, eh Herr Goebbels?

Also, I consider their awards to be valid because they did not also throw theirs away in a cheap and shameful political stunt that actually did diliberately disrespect everyone who also wore those awards.

Funny how you forget those pesky little facts but then again, that is also very typical of you.

Seems Kerry has made it unambiguous that he has no respect for his fellow servicemen nor any respect for his own awards. Why should anyone who possess even the slightest spark of common sense feel compelled to argue otherwise?

Posted by Mike Puckett at January 6, 2007 10:05 AM

John kerry won a silver star saving a soldier's life in combat.

The hell he did. John Kerry won his silver star by charging into an ambush. If anything, he put his sailors in harms way by not retreating (BTW, soldiers are in the Army, and John Kerry was in the Navy, but it is ok. People who don't know anything about the military usually screw this up).

Here's the citation. There is no way you can read that and come up with "he saved a sailors life".

Posted by Leland at January 6, 2007 07:21 PM

Ben Runkel is someone I worked with for quite a long time. He is as honest as the day is long. I am proud to know him, and I think he is an incredible human being and American.

So there. Neener neener.

80 over 110?

Jim, this man is a Klngon!

Posted by Dr. McCoy at January 7, 2007 12:38 PM

Leland

Boy oh boy, good thing you've been in combat.

Only you know when heroic's don't deserve the
Silver star.

Kerry joined a unique club when he won his stars.
Let other people in that club criticize him.

You should concentrate on cleaning up floors.
