Ah, that's where I am right now. In fact, I'm writing this comment from just south and east of the southernmost point.
Two recommendations:
1- The best steak you can find anywhere in south florida is actually right here in Key West, at "Prime 951", located at 951 Caroline street (overlooking the yatch club). It is an incredible edible experience.
2. If you're interested in an expensive, awesome dinner on a island, make a reservation for Sunset key at the Westin resort. You can see it from Mallory square.
