Thomas James righteously rails against it. If humans settle space, we will take human institutions with us, and the ones that have proven successful here will do so there as well.

I wouldn't be too worried. The sorts that we don't want in space will be too busy whining that we should fix their self inflicted problems on the ground to follow the libertarians up.
