An Exemplary Example Of How Crazy College Football Is This Season

The first team this season to lose to Notre Dame defeated Cal.

And the Buckeye-Spartan game was close enough to make both teams worth beating for Michigan's strength of schedule. Assuming they beat Illinois tonight, of course...

[Sunday morning update]

Sorry, I'd linked the wrong year on the Notre Dame/UCLA game--it's fixed now. The point remains, though.

Who cares, Alabama beat Tennessee today.

Let's see, the Spartan's scored twice in 90 seconds. Off of an interception and a fumble. Buckeye's defense gave up a whopping 3 points.

I wasn't at the game, and I didn't get to watch it, but my friends who were in Ohio Stadium told me it wasn't close, the 14 points were flukes. The Buckeye's dominated. I understand that a win is a win if they had actually won it, but they didn't.

I've seen the Spartan's win at Ohio Stadium over the Buckeye's, and it ain't pretty when it happens! :)

Redundancy in the title of the post! An EXAMPLE of how college football rots the mind?

Rand, check the date of the Notre Dame story.

Either you've been had, or you're trying to pull a fast one.

That's OK Rand, we all make misteaks.
