Rand the first link is a 404 Not Found.

Kucinich quote from the Breitbart link:
"If there isn't something wrong with him [President Bush], then there's something wrong with us. This, to me, is a very serious question."

So close but it just didn't connect all the way through. I hope he keeps trying to figure it all out. I recommend that he starts with reading the transcript of what Bush said while going easy on both preconceived and knee-jerk assumptions.

Sorry. I came up with an equivalent one. Not to imply, of course, that it's the only reason to consider Dennis the Menace a nutjob. There's Chemtrails, for example.

Watch the magnificent job our troops are doing training the Iraqis here:

http://andrewsullivan.theatlantic.com/the_daily_dish/2007/10/training-the-ir.html

The video really captures the sheer absurdity of it all.

What more proof do you need that W is nuts?

Posted by Offside at October 31, 2007 03:51 PM

GWB is nuts because Iraqi's can't do jumping jacks.

GWB is nuts because Iraqi's can't do jumping jacks?

GWB is nuts because Iraqi's can't do jumping jacks!

And I'll bet the coalition guys leading the jumping jacks can't do anything culturally Iraqi like shear a goat either. Which brings us to the inevitable conclusion that Bin Laden can juggle. Which means we must pull out.

Offside, I remember at least half dozen guys in boot camp who couldn't do jumping jacks.

Steve, what those Iraqis can't do goes a teeny bit further than can't do jumping jacks .
It's a metaphor for the whole farce in my opinion, especailly the guy on the far left.

Of course you can't see that. I doubt you will until we pull out at some time and they settle their differences while saying they all hate America. At which point it will of course be the Democrats fault. Of course.

They all want to kill us, just not right now. Actually wouldn't you if someone occupied your country for this long and forced, indirectly or otherwise 15% of your own to head for the hills?

Or maybe you see that's where it's headed and so you insist we stay until they wave American flags.

It's nuts. Just like the video captures the whole Iraqi conversion effort. Anyone who thinks otherwise is absolutely nutty. Clearly W thinks like this. A nut selling a pipe dream to America. Far nuttier than anything you can objectively state about Dennis Kucinich.

Offside, your slip of insanity is showing.

I would rather count dead terrorists killed by the Iraqis than jumping jacks. And the Iraquis have been doing fairly weel on that score as of late.

When will the surge denialists ever realize the Earth is not flat and Iraq has turned the corner?

For all you know, the video could have been a set-up.

The only conclusion a reasonable person can come to is you are nuttier than Kucinich.

Thanks Rand, I enjoyed reading the comments about the UFO experiences of Carter and Reagan ^_^

Jumping jacks? Hmm, I can't roll my tongue, guess that means I'm a lizard-man or something... Can Kucinich do jumping jacks? Can he roll his tongue? How about the other Democrats? We need video evidence.

Offside,
Mike beat me to it, but you seem to have slipped your mental leash. That's a metaphor.

How do you equate doing jumping jacks to being able to support, defend and run a country? Please let me know.

Posted by Steve at November 1, 2007 07:06 AM

When they can support run and defend their country, the Kagans and Kristols will still want us to be there; most likely the Iraqis will be burning American flags like their neighbors do instead of doing jumping jacks to please our troops. Do you seriously think otherwise? Is there even an iota of evidence to assume they will be pro-American?

So what excuse will we have to stay there then? because I'm afraid we will find an excuse to stay on no matter what. Colonialism hasn't worked very well in recent history; it very likely has a dismal future in Iraq.
