Answers are elusive, but the ever-increasing toll of violent crimes committed by journalists has led some experts to warn that without programs for intensive mental health care, the nation faces a potential bloodbath at the hands of psychopathic media vets.

"These people could snap at any minute," says James Treacher of the Treacher Institute for Journalist Studies. "We need to get them the help and medication they need before it's too late."

I think that we need to set up a national data base so we can know whether or not one lives in our neighborhood. Anyway, we know that the brutality of covering a war that's being inexplicably won can cause many to snap.

Kinda like this, but for journalists. Or put up some of these ... I feel a PhotoShop contest coming on.

I found out there's an NBC correspondent living in my county, only because he started agitating to close a shooting range that had been operating for years, without complaints, before he moved into that neighborhood.

Do you have any children? I know that if I did and I lived there, I'd probably be unable to sleep knowing my kids were in the same neighborhood as a known NBC correspondent.

Kill 'em all, let God sort 'em out.

Or nuke 'em from orbit. It's the only way to be sure.

Rand, I think your commentary was not very balanced, and neither was Iowahawk's. I want to hear from the poor, downtrodden journalists and their leaders as to the source of their grievances, their poverty and their poor access to effective education. You are both blaming the true victims here.
