"'The Godfather' Of Superhero Movies"

That's the briefest review of the new Batman flick that I've seen.

I'll probably wait untll the DVD. I'm not that big a fan of dark movies.

It's good. Dark, yes, but action-packed and well done.

Though I'm reminded of a comment I once read about the director trying to out-gross (in an aesthetic sense) all previous Batman movies. In that is succeeds well. The Joker is bad enough, but what happens to Harvey Dent will doubtless put some people off meat for a while (not me, but I'm a dedicated meat-enthusiast:-).
