OK, so you're running against a guy who for recreation (though not his) used to have his arms tied together at the wrists behind his back, and hang from them for hours, a result of which is that he can no longer raise them above his head. Or other things:
McCain gets emotional at the mention of military families needing food stamps or veterans lacking health care. The outrage comes from inside: McCain's severe war injuries prevent him from combing his hair, typing on a keyboard, or tying his shoes.
And the Obama campaign is making fun of him for not knowing how to email?
When these guys lose, there will be many reasons why.

Hey, as I say in comments, the guy has problems finding good help. Just who we want for president.
Someone should ask Obama if he will use email as President should he be elected. Knowing that they will be the first things subpeonaed in the inevitable investigations. The current administration does not use email for exactly that reason.

The other, and maybe more, important factor here has bypassed many people. McCain actually CALLS and talks to people he needs to contact.

I mean, he's a lightweight, but he's always seemed personally decent and thoughtful. But this ad was disgusting. Making fun of an old soldier because his war injuries mean he has to dictate his e-mails to his wife? You have to be a dickhead with the (lack of) maturity of a 13-year-old to think that's the kind of thing to laugh about in public. High school students running for student council president have more class. Feh.

Like or dislike Obama the fact is very very clear:
There are no excuses.
Obama's big claim to President is that he runs his own campaign. Either this is true or it isn't. If he does run his own campaign then he is personally responsible for this, and that makes him an asshole. If he doesn't run his own campaign, and foists responsibility off on a "staffer", then the entire raison for his run is bullshit.

Trust me, Obama is the Chauncey Gardner candidate. He's bland and not very bright, but people project what they want on him -- from left and right. This has great entertainment value, but foreshadows a disastrous presidency.
Ok I think this must be official by now: Obama is intentionally trying to lose the election. It wasn't the plan to win the Democrat's nomination but they couldn't help it due to that damn acclamation thing.
But they're panicking now because so many just don't want to leave them behind.
Next week Obama enters the stage naked with just a mike in his hand and a really large ostrich feather out of his ass and details his economic policy during an eight-hour marathon session while strutting around.
(But the numbers only dip to 40% and he's preemptively nominated for an Oscar as best actor in the planned future documentary).
Who besides a barking left wing moron actually expects the President of the United States to type his own emails? Bill Clinton is said to have only sent two email messages during his 8 years in the White House.
I know a few blind people who have no problem with email, a couple with other disabilities. Not being able to type shouldn't stop you from using email or other systems unless you don't actually want to. I suspect, like other people of his age and background McCain probably doesn't see a pressing need for him to bother. He wouldn't be the first, IIRC, the current president isn't big on email.
As it stands, there are probably sound reasons why a president probably shouldn't. Of course, that shouldn't stop their campaign or staff from helping them.
