Before Gore took the state by double digits, there was encouraging poll numbers for Republicans in '00 too... don't be fooled.

Kerry is in big trouble for other reasons, but he's not in any danger of losing the Californicators.

MarkD, before Gore took the state by double digits, he was also declared the winner of the election by the news stations. I still don't doubt that there were more issues because of the Florida Debacle than just "hanging chads".
