She was, of course, much more than that, but she was that.

"Much more than that" indeed. I always think "The Miracle Worker" whenever I hear the name, Bancroft. Regret I never got to see her work live on stage.

She had many unbilled moments in Mel' comedies too. In interviews, she came off as goofy as he did. I would love to meet a lady like that.
