I Call For A Boycott

This has simply gone too far. Even though I'd look forward to seeing Oregon walloping Oklahoma, I will refuse to watch the Holiday Bowl, until they call it what we all know it is--the Christmas Bowl.

She does have a point with the etymology.

However, me thinks most people who push "Happy Holidays" over "Merry Christmas" don't know that. ;)

True, but methinks Everyone Else does not grok the true score!

Was in Walmarts the other day. I am getting kind of upset with them because while they appear to go out of their way to not acknowledge Christmas they still seem to want me to buy my brains out for some unspecified holiday.

The closest they come to admitting that anything unusual is going on is in some sparsely scattered signs that said "Happy Holidays" in English and "Feliz Navidad" in Espanol.

Got me to wondering...have they not yet reached the point where they feel they can safely offend our brethern of Spanish heritage or if the Walmat PR people are too dumb to realize what they are doing?

I watched the inaugural Holiday Bowl on TV. It was a high-scoring game. I went to the kitchen and made a sandwich, and I missed 35 points.
