Does this COME with a copy of Chairman Mao's Little Red Book, and the associated Communist Children's Song Book?

This is indoctrination, at its worst.

Mommy is the coolest, she shares, she plays, she studies hard and she's a DEMOCRAT. Mommy even protects us from harm, she's a DEMOCRAT. Does that mean if your not a DEMOCRAT, that you don't or can't do those things? I bet the author thinks that, because mommy saved us from being walked on by a mean old elephant!!. How come it's not a book about why mommy and DADDY are DEMOCRATS?

No intended symbolisms there, yeah, I bet.

I guess they couldn't show mommy the DEMOCRAT saving us from a plane plowing into a high rise office complex. Mommy, the DEMOCRAT, would never want to offend anyone, unless they are a REPUBLICAN.

Liars and haters and scarers! OH! MY!

With my humble appologies Mr Baum.

Gerard Venderleun said that he wishes he could be a Democrat again.

Me too! It was a great political party, but, like many American companies, it lost its focus by spreading itself thin enough to try to please everybody. I go for fairness and equality in many things; I do not go for la-di-da.

I have said it before and will say it again: "Raving, dirt eating morons."

Did anyone else find that book disturbing, in a Stalinesque sort of way?

Mike

Personally, I am going to have to find and purchase a copy of this before it becomes
scarce. I can put it next to my "Global Warning" children's pop up book with the evil hunter beating the baby seal action tab.

So Mommy is a Democrat because we're all a bunch of helpless children for our entire lives, right?

Posted by Alan K. Henderson at February 23, 2006 11:30 PM

yeah, that is fairly disturbing. nobody should be indoctrinating little kids

Posted by ujedujik at February 24, 2006 02:36 AM

"yeah, that is fairly disturbing. nobody should be indoctrinating little kids."....with a dysfunctional idealogy.

Posted by Mike Puckett at February 24, 2006 07:29 AM

i dont think "democrats are good" really qualifies as an ideology

Posted by ujedujik at February 24, 2006 12:10 PM

How about Nanny Statism?

Don't take self-responsibility because big Mother will take care of you.

That seems to be the theme of the book.

Posted by Mike Puckett at February 24, 2006 01:40 PM

Well it sure seems to be the Democrat "answer" to the Republicans. Oh, it slipped my mind, its not working for them either!!

BWAAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
