Five Years Too Late

But still welcome news. "Underperformin' Norman" Mineta is resigning.

Rand,
Not that I'm being paranoid, who's being paranoid? I'm not paranoid!!

But are you killing some of my posts? I'm previewing, then posting, it says Done, and then when I come back later, my blurb is gone. It's your blog so feel free to delete me, but I'd like to know it's not a problem on my end.

Thanks,

I haven't deleted any posts, other than spam. I don't know what to tell you.

Posted by Rand Simberg at June 23, 2006 12:29 PM

Must be my problem, I'll see what's up.

Thank You Rand.

At last we're rid of "No profiling" Mineta! Maybe we can hope for change now.

Hey, if the storekeeper says he was stuck up by a tall blonde white guy, the cops don't have to hassle the fat black kid going by.

Maybe, just maybe, middle eastern males of military age will get more scrutiny in our airports than elderly Scandahoovian women in wheelchairs, or blonde curly-haired toddlers.

Maybe, just maybe profiling will get back the good name its always had with working cops.
