I Have To Go For "Delusional Fool"

I'm still waiting for someone to make a convincing case that James Baker is a brilliant foreign policy strategist.

No comments so far, probably everyone who's read this post so far can't think of a convincing argument...

I still haven't come across any comments anywhere about Pres. Bush's reason for choosing this guy, anyway. Pressure from his father?

Try Lawrence Eagleburger. He was a big Bush 41 guy, right?

http://www.1nformationclearinghouse.1nfo/article2931.htm

Former Secretary Of State. Lawrence Eagleburger, "If George W. Bush takes military action against Iran and Syria, he should be impeached".

It has been suggested that Baker and Bush 41 have decided to isolate Bush 43 (fire Rummy being job #1) so that they can run foriegn policy from behind the scenes.

The Eagleburger quote above was from 2003, I wonder if he's changed his mind given Iranian interference in Iraq (IE support for insurgency)?

Wasn't the Iraq Study Group selected by Congress? That removes the selection from the Executive branch.
