Watch Out

A very nasty new virus. If you get a cold that gets very bad, particularly with lung congestion, get to the doctor immediately.

There is obviously a need to be able to identify, let alone find a cure for, infections of this sort before we can really deal with aging as a disease . Right now, it seems we can't even quite figure out what we've got when we start sneezing. MDs prescribe an antibiotic when they are simply guessing. The same with sinus infections, which apparently are mainly caused by underlying fungal infections for which there is no solution. Viruses and Fungi - we need to find a way to hit them hard. And then of course you have antibiotic resistant Bacteria. It sucks.

Well, actually, MDs prescribe an antibiotic because their patients often demand it, even though they know that it will have no effect on virii.

That's why we're breeding so many antibiotic-resistant bugs... ;-(

Worst wording ever:
""It's like the blind person touching different parts of the elephant. We're touching the part of the elephant that is the sickest," said Ann Thomas of the Oregon Department of Human Services."

A true "WTF!?" moment ^_^
