You aren't the first to note this. Obama-Zod has been showing up regularly on the Polipundit blog for nearly a week now. Usually to pretty good comedic effect. Below is such an example.

Every year I come up with "the Halloween Costume." I am much too old and square to actually wear a Halloween costume, but in many workplaces there is some "dress up" to mark the occasion. The idea is I come up with a yearly Halloween Costume Concept, which would be what I would "be for Halloween" if I did such a thing, and for me it is a Scrapplefacian form of political satire. The idea is to come up with something both topical, scary, and funny at the same time.
Besides Halloween comes right before Election Day, and well, you get the idea.
So far this year, the Halloween Costume is a tie. One idea is that the costume and character would be a "Typical White Person", you know, irrationally and prejudicially fearful in the presence of persons of color without respect to their social status, "clinging" to religion and guns and not getting their proper respect from the government. Maybe the costume could be a t-shirt of the late Charleton Heston, saying "my president is now in Heaven", and as part of the costume, I could be clutching an oversized stimulus rebate check.
The second idea for a costume is a Che Guevera t-shirt, you know, the kind they wear on college campuses everywhere. What is my costume character, you ask? Why, what I am for Halloween is a hostage-rescue commando in the Colombian Army!
