Well, while Michigan college football was a disaster yesterday, it was nice to see the Lions win their last four straight, two of them on the road. Let’s see if they can keep the streak going into next season.

I don’t know about continuing the streak. But I think the Lions have a shot at a .500 season next year, the way they’ve played over the second half of this year. You could see it happening – they lost a lot of close games early on, then in these last couple months they figured out how to close the deal and win close games.
Meanwhile, my Pats are looking good heading into the playoffs. Belichick seems to have a fresh crop of young players coming on strong now, after a couple so-so years as a lot of the veterans left for more money. Brady has a full complement of receivers again, the running game is coming on, and the defense is firming up. They could be tough to beat – fingers crossed!
Well, the Lions haven’t lost a single game in 2011. It’s a good year so far. 😉
Well, Michigan’s misfortunes just got RichRod fired.
