4. This guy’s an MBA? He founded a bank? I think I know where Mr. Stark was trying to get to, but this is an embarrasment. Jan was giving him softball questions and a good opportunity to really explain finances, and his defensiveness killed him. That’s appalling.

5. “Debt is a measure of wealth”? Hmm. Maybe I should try that argument with the credit rating companies — with my debt, I should have a stellar credit rating!

   Oh, well, Stark is neither the first nor the last MIT grad with a personality disorder….

6. Typical Fortney Stark (Pete is a nickname). This isn’t the first time he has blown up during an interview, and it won’t be the last.

7. Such humanity shown by the 2008 Humanist of the year.

   Cheapens the award.

8. Very interesting. The interviewer plays effectively on the arrogance and ignorance of the interviewee. Too bad that more “real journalists” aren’t like this guy. The interview outcome suggests that Stark is so accustomed to softball interviews and to being able to bully people that he can’t handle a real argument from someone who won’t back down.

9. I didn’t play the video, so someone will have to tell me: does he call the interviewer a “little fruitcake“..?
