Meh. I would cut Obama some slack on this one. We should want kids to dream. If he told them the truth about their prospects of playing in the NFL, it would be just like some jerk telling kids Santa Claus doesn’t exist.

It’s not a new audience. It’s been going on for generations and it’s not just in schools. OTOH, I do agree it’s not so much a lie as just the shallow talk of a shallow man. In this case, I don’t think his intentions are as evil as the plans of this man are.
Well, he figures that if someone like him could become President, WITHOUT the hard work, then anything must be possible WITH hard work.
