  1. Of course. The whole raison d’etre of G+ is the fear that Facebook was breaking the internet in exactly the same way, but wasn’t going to let Google search in!

  2. People would have to use it in order for it to “Break The Internet”.

    Also, unless it makes routers stop working or rewrites my TCP traffic, it’s not “Breaking The Internet”.

    Google search is not the internet, not while other search engines exist.

    And in order to use it they first have to know it exists. So we’re at least two steps away from “breaking” anything.
