  1. The fact that anyone thinks this could be true shows just how tainted Mitt Romney actually is. Clearly, he should step down, to show that he is not the potential racist that these stories suggest he could be, and should endorse Barack Hussein Obama for President.

Only then can Michelle be proud of America again!

  2. I’m sure someone at CBS will supply a type written (Arial 12pt) bill of sale showing Romney’s family did own a slave. Hey, maybe even Charles Johnson will; oh never mind… Just went a bridge too far.

  3. Fell for it??? Wrong! They created it; this kind of thing is politically useful to them; even if some of those who see it believe it only briefly, it still colors their perceptions. Expect more of these “fell for it” attacks.

  4. Go back far enough and we all either were slaves, owned slaves or both. Even slaves had slaves and being a slave was not a dishonor. Skin color making no difference.

But not everybody can say they ate man’s best friend.

  5. Not surprising that Dems would buy into this. Go read the comments section at DU, DailyKos, or HuffPo. These people keep the tinfoil hat market strong. They think the TP is going to show up at polling places in minority neighborhoods and prevent people from voting so they can make everyone slaves in the new theocracy.

The race baiting from Obama is clearly having the intended effect on his base.

  6. For all of those who are patting themselves on the back about how stupid the progs are, and how smart the conservatives are, I present:

Just in case you aren’t sure, it’s satire. Be sure to read all of the comments, which become hilarious after repeated attempts to point out to indignant patriots that the article is satire bounce off of their skulls. When the truth finally dawns, a fair number actually used the “fake but accurate” defense.
