When I read this I immediately looked to see who the authors were and, sure enough, the Chinese got blindsided by ESL : ) I can only imagine what their PowerPoint presentation sounds like. Brings to mind the Traveling Wave Tube Amplifier (TWTA) which is a vacuum tube and as such, should correctly be described as a Traveling Wave Amplifer Tube (but you can see the problem). Following this lead, the Chinese should have called it a Nanotube made of Copper hence a “NTCu.”
