  1. I don’t run unless someone is chasing me. And that someone had better be very large and pretty much bullet proof, also.

    I do me some weights now and again, and I walk, because the walking makes me sleep better, most times, and does also help my old body move things through itself. But there is no running. Running hurts, and is for cowards and escaping things, and I’m not doing any escaping from anything.

    At any rate, I don’t do running. I’ve survived so far just fine without it, and see no reason to start at this late stage of my life.

    1. After many years in the military, I’m convinced that running causes brain damage. I’m not going to do it any more. Oh, I can run if I have to but there better be a damn good reason.

  2. I used to bike 20 miles a day in Pittsburgh, up and down hills, and my leg muscles were large and strong. I also used to run, but not jog. I’d do 1-2 miles on a track. The two together were a big plus for my preferred winter sport of downhill skiing…
